ALPHA BANK | Global Money Week
Intro
Global Money Week 2024 was an ideal opportunity for Alpha Bank to enhance its leading image in the ESG segment and showcase the programs carried out for various target groups in its effort to enable a sustainable future.
The Challenge
How could Alpha Bank stand out and attract stakeholders’ interest and achieve wide participation in its programs? And how could it capitalize its relationship with the local communities of Amfissa and Itea on the occasion of Global Money Week, and make the whole experience relevant to the upcoming Delphi Economic Forum?
The Solution
We designed an umbrella concept “Initiatives for Financial Literacy” to position all the existing programs related to this theme and designed a 2-day roadshow consisting of the Numismatic Collection, the IQonomy – Financial Literacy for All initiative and the Digital fraud awareness program, in a holistic approach addressing the Bank’s main target audiences.|
We contacted various local key stakeholders, such as the Municipality (Mayor, municipality members, etc.), the Education committees, women entrepreneurs, as well as the head of the respective Alpha Bank store, and cooperated with them on promoting the various events in their communities, while we set up meetings and briefs with the NGOs running the various educational and women entrepreneurship programs.
Additionally, taking advantage of the Banks’ participation in the Delphi Economic Forum, we proposed and carried out an innovative panel attended by students of local high schools, with youtuber George Vagiatas as the moderator.
To materialize this “differentiated” event, we enhanced the relationship with the Amfissa Municipality, and managed to attract schools and students participation and interaction throughout the panel discussion, as well as in their classrooms.
Our work included concept development, communication design and strategic planning of the various activities and touch points.
The outcome
Over 300 students participated in the Numismatic Collection seminars
35 women took part in the financial education workshop
25 teachers, educating over 1000 students, attended the Financial literacy school program seminar and then carried out the program in their classes
25 students and their teachers attended the Alpha Bank panel discussion at the Delphi Economic Forum, while over 150 students participated indirectly in the program in the classrooms
