European Union - Europe in my Region
Intro
A 360 campaign that run successively for two years targeting 12 regions in Greece. The aim was to portray important infrastructure, environmental and recreational projects implemented and funded by European Union that are a source of pride for the regions and their population.
Solution
For each of the 12 regions we developed a unique campaign that raises the local pride and addresses the local inhabitants & cities' visitors by focusing each time at one significant project for the local community.
The projects were carefully selected amongst a list of all infrastructure, environmental & cultural projects funded by European Union.
A unique KV visual was created per project, enhancing the relevance and likeability with an eye-catching title and doodle. The campaign run though targeted PR activities with local celebrities, social media, banners, outdoor & print communication.
Outcome
Although the campaigns had mostly a local imprint and not a national one, we managed to achieve significant press coverage, awareness and engagement, achieving the goal of raising local pride and educating on EU’s contribution to major developments in Greece.
