PIRAEUS BANK - Check In Class "Notes"
A strategic approach that aimed at making the university students attend their uni courses and at the same time generate traffic in the Piraeus bank stores.
The Check in Class app launched back in 2015 with great results and has been awarded several times for its innovative strategy and execution. Two years later the project has evolved into Check in Notes.
The main challenge is to boost awareness for the bank’s loyalty program and at the same time make the bank more consumer-friendly. The task this time was to motivate students to keep notes and at the same time to share those with the rest of their classmates.
The platform originally created, evolved and could now host student’s notes, who in their turn could redeem this action in yellows. The new feature was communicated in the universities with posters, print ads, radio and also digital. Engaging and creative facebook content communicated the new feature and a mobile banner campaign gave an extra boost to the whole campaign.
The new campaign launched in December in just 2 universities. In less than a month there were more than 500 uploads which was a great success taking into consideration that the communication during the Xmas period was more limited.
