Integrated campaign, the central idea of which is summarized in the slogan: “60 Years KLINEX protection, because we are our home”.
Intro
KLINEX, a leader in home care, is a brand Greek households have known and trusted since 1952. It has always been perceived as effective and innovative due to new formats it has launched over its 60-year history.
Challenge
The 60th anniversary was a great opportunity for KLINEX to strengthen its relationship with consumers and portray its competitive advantages. A 360° campaign was requested by the client.
Solution
“60 Years KLINEX protection, because we are our home” was the end line proposed by our agency in order to address the sentimental aspect of the brand and strengthen its relations with the Greek housewives. A large 360° communication plan established the brand values and also enhanced sales through branding and in-store promotions, above the line advertising, an extensive publicity program, etc. To inaugurate the anniversary, an inspiring media event was held at KLINEX’s home, the factory of Rentis, where it is manufactured. Journalists had the chance to enter the factory and get familiar with KLINEX’s manufacturing process via guided tours, while the Unilever managers shared information about the brand’s milestones and new product range.
Outcome
Over 70 media representatives and 4 TV channel crews attended the media event, despite the distance from the town center, while over 110 press clippings were the result of this very successful celebration! Apart from its wide coverage, the 60-year campaign embraced and engaged the Unilever employees in Greece, thus making it an occasion to remember…
